Your data

Privacy policy

Our commitment in one sentence

We collect the strict minimum, we use your data only to respond to you, we pass it on to no one, and we delete it once your enquiry has been handled.

1. Data controller

ÉGIDE Advisory · Mr Jugurtha BAZIZ, sole trader, 142 rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris · office@egideadvisory.com · +33 1 85 09 45 73.

2. The data you provide to us

We collect the data you provide to us voluntarily via the contact form, by email or by phone: surname, first name, company or organisation (optional), email address, phone number (optional), and the content of your message.

This data is never used for unsolicited commercial prospecting, is not subject to any profiling, and is neither sold, rented nor transferred to third parties.

3. Audience measurement and cookies

To understand how the website is used and to improve it, we rely on two tools provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland):

  • Google AnalyticsAn audience measurement tool that places cookies on your device and processes browsing data: pages viewed, date and duration of the visit, traffic source, device and browser type, IP address (truncated). This data is used exclusively to produce aggregated traffic statistics.
  • Google Search ConsoleA tool for monitoring the website's visibility in search results. It places no cookies on your device and provides only aggregated, anonymous statistics (queries, impressions, positions).

Legal basis: your consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR and Article 82 of the loi Informatique et Libertés, the French Data Protection Act), obtained on your first visit. You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting your browsing. You may also configure your browser to refuse cookies, or install the opt-out add-on provided by Google (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

These tools are used for statistical purposes only: they serve neither targeted advertising nor prospecting, and are not cross-referenced with the data from your contact enquiry. Audience measurement data is retained for a maximum of fourteen months.

4. Purpose and legal basis

The data you provide to us is used for a single purpose: to review your enquiry and respond to it. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).

It is not subject to any automated decision-making. The audience measurement described in Section 3 relies, for its part, on your consent.

5. Retention periods

Our guiding principle is minimisation:

  • No engagementIf your enquiry does not lead to an engagement, your data is deleted once your enquiry has been handled, and at the latest within three months of our last exchange.
  • Engagement undertakenIf a contractual relationship begins, the data required to perform the engagement and meet our legal obligations is retained for the periods imposed by law (contractual documents: 5 years; accounting records: 10 years), then deleted.

6. Recipients and processors

The data from your enquiry is intended exclusively for ÉGIDE Advisory. It is technically hosted by our provider Hostinger International Ltd. (website and email hosting), established in the European Union (Cyprus), which acts as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR.

Audience measurement data is processed by Google Ireland Limited. As Google may transfer certain data to the United States, such transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres. No other transfer outside the European Union is carried out at our initiative.

7. Security and confidentiality

Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the messages received is restricted to the data controller alone. Every enquiry is furthermore covered by the firm's confidentiality commitment: no information relating to your situation or your case is shared without your consent.

8. Your rights

In accordance with the GDPR and the French loi Informatique et Libertés (Data Protection Act), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data. To exercise them, write to office@egideadvisory.com: we respond within one month at most. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07).
